The RSGB organizes a FT4 contest on 80M almost every month. The contest last only 90 minutes on every contest day so there is not much time to make QSOs. I have participated in the ‘10W Non UK‘ section as my antenna is not really suited for 80M and I curious was what I could do with this mismatched antenna on 10 Watts.
The scores of every round and the totals are listed in the table below:
|Date||Round||Position per round||Overall position this year||QSOs||Score||Multis||Total score per round||Weighted total score per round||Position Certificate|
|2020-09-28||7||2 (of 4)||10 (of 12)||25||33||15||495||371|
|2020-10-19||8||2 (of 2)||9 (of 12)||18||18||12||216||392|
|2020-11-16||9||4 (of 7)||24||28||15||420||308|

I entered this contest in September and was only able to take part in the last three rounds. After the September round I ended up in 10th place overall, after the October round I climbed one position higher to 9th place. The final round I scored a bit less than in the previous two rounds but this was enough to climb from 9th place to 4th overall. A nice result given that I’ve only participated in three rounds.
